Lady Bird, Lady Bird

This week we had a blast making
these darling Lady Birds.
So much they just had to have
their very own photo shoot!

My friend Susan made a sweet flower especially for our ladybirds...
It is  so adorable I might add ! We used an air dry clay by Crayola ...
which is very vibrant in color.

 Ladybird, ladybird fly away home,
Your house is on fire and your children are gone,
All except one, And her name is Ann,
And she hid under the frying pan

Ladybugs all dressed in red
Strolling through the flowerbed.
If I were tiny just like you
I'd creep among the flowers too!

Uh oh !, a little snake came along.....
Thankfully this little fella is a friendly one.
He just wants to hang out with the Ladybirds a bit...

That was fun!!!!
Hope your having fun too!
Happy Friday to you!

Snippets....

This is a post of snippets from our week with our friends
who came down to visit us from Washington.
A couple pics. from the garden walk we went through.

The fun time we had browsing through the antique malls.
A yo yo quilt I would have loved to bring home...
but the sticker price of $265.00 blew me away!
Freckles plays a teeny tiny piano...so cute!
Oooh and old children books...my favorite!

We also had a bit of fun at The Wild Animal Park...
Freckles even got to splash a bit...
perfect for cooling down on a warm day.

Our most favorite part of the Wild Animal Park
is of course the elephants!
We got to see Horton and even two more
new babies just born in February and April.
They are absolutely adorable.
There are actually 8 baby ellies there!

Miss Freckles even bellowed out her famous elephant call.
We had a great time there..
just letting loose and being wild!

We were so sad to have to see them leave yesterday.
But surely, we have some awesome memories together.

Our friends are true blessings!

In-n-Out Diner.....

Welcome! Happy Rednesday, hosted by

Today we take you to In-N-Out....
If you have never been to California...
You may not know about this awesome hamburger joint.
They have this saying...
In-N-Out...In-N-Out That's What a hamburgers all about!!!
It reminds me of a fifties sort of joint. They started out in 1948 and never changed the menu since. They don't use anything frozen...all veggies are cut up fresh everyday and hamburger is never frozen. They never use frozen french fries. They are cut up fresh and cooked in a low cholesterol oil.

Well to keep with Rednesday...
I thought I would share our little dinner outing...
little snippets of red are throughout the restaurant....
I just love it!

Oh and did you know that under each
In-N-Out cup you will find a scripture verse?
Each size cup has a different one.
This size has John 3 :16. Pretty cool....I think...
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Thanks for coming along with us. Be sure if you ever visit..
.Drive thru an In-N-Out...Their shakes are yummy too!
Have a great Rednesday.
See ya next time.

P.S Thank you to those who are praying for Ben...
He is pretty broken literally and having to go through many surgeries.
We hope he will come through and that he will be able to walk again.
It will surely be a long road ahead for his full recovery.

My dera friend Susan has come to visit us from Washington!
We have been having a great time visiting, giggling and hanging out.
Today we went downtown for a little walk around the shops
and through the little garden. I wish I could say this is my garden.

Here's Freckles and Susan. Aww...
Aren't they cute?

We really could have spent the whole day here.
It truly is a lovely little garden area.

Well this is a short yet sweet post just to say hello there!
